Ronnie Ortiz-Magro has a reason to fist pump today.
The “Jersey Shore” star has avoided jail time over a fight from Season 1 that was caught on camera. In December, Ronnie was indicted on one count of third degree assault which could have potentially given him up to 5 years in prison.
After appearing in a Jersey courtroom yesterday, Judge Stephanie Wauters sentenced Ronnie to a pretrial intervention program for 18 months, since this was his first offense.

Ronnie may have gotten off this time, but the “Jersey Shore” cast is in hot water with MTV. MTV has adopted a zero tolerance policy for any castmate who thinks they can just walk off the set and leave the house.
Both Vinny and Mike have left the house so far this season and MTV isn’t having it. The next person to walk out just may get their contract voided. Ouch!
