It has been greatly disturbing to read about what has taken place in downtown Oslo, Norway and at an offshore youth camp. This is horrible. The bombing is reminding people of the Oklahoma City attack led by the homegrown non-Muslim terrorist Timothy McVeigh.

OK, calm down. I know it’s considered illogical to use the words terrorist and non-Muslim in the same sentence.

Matter of fact, if it is not done by a Muslim it is not even considered an act of terrorism. Remember the White man who flew the airplane into the IRS building in Austin? What about the Arizona shooter and White supremacist Jared Loughner? I guess they just had a bad day.

Norwegian Anders Behring Breivik is allegedly the perpetrator of the bombing as well as the unprecedented shooting death of over 90 people. He’s being called a “madman.” He just had a bad day too, huh?

The media and pundits are skilled at spinning stories and they won’t stop until they can find a Muslim boogie man somewhere to pin the blame on. I found it rather interesting, not surprising, that when this story broke the names “al-Qaeda,” “Global Jihad” and “Islamic terrorist” started being heavily circulated. There was no proof yet newspapers made it a headline.

Newsflash: Breivik is reportedly a Right Wing Christian fundamentalist who hates Muslims. He is not connected to any international Islamic group. Will he be treated as a terrorist or declared a mentally unstable man?

Bin Laden may be gone, but it looks like Islamophobia is here to stay. Why is Islam always the blame?
