We all let out a collective sigh of sadness after Kanye hit up his personal (and verified) Twitter account with the news that the Twitter page for his clothing line DW, which hit the web this morning, was a fake. Well, @DWbyKanye was fun for the 4 tweets it lasted. Here is what ‘Ye had to say about the fake account:

Whether or not critics took nicely to Ye’s debut didn’t ruffle his feathers or deter his fashion designer dreams, because ‘Ye’s line DW is back! Only via Twitter, for now.
The @DWbyKanye account slipped silently in to the Twitter-sphere, but quickly gained a lot of buzz with four simple tweets after following only four people. That is so Kanye.
Kanye has never been one to succumb to the outside pressures to conform, and he is making this clear by restarting momentum for his line.

Like Kanye’s personal Twitter, DWbyKanye only follows only four people: Kanye West, Central St. Martins, A.P.C. founder Jean Touitou (who gave Yeezy advice when he was starting up DW) and model Anja Rubik.
