Question Bridge: Black Males is an exhibition you must check out if you’re in the NYC or Los Angeles Area.

Created by visual artists Hank Willis Thomas and Chris Johnson, in collaboration with Bayeté Ross Smith and Kamal Sinclair, and presently on view at the Brooklyn Museum, the installation examines the way black men see themselves and each other.

STORY: Derrick Adams Launches Solo Show At Tilton Gallery

The project began in 1996 after the Republican Convention and was revived by Willis Thomas & Co in 2007.

In total, there are 1500 hours of interviews where questions and answers are communicated via video.

At the museum, the videos are arranged in a way that seems like the men, who vary in age, sexual orientation, religious views, education and geography, are speaking to one another.

Sample video is above.
