We already know that Beyonce and Gwyneth Paltrow are close friends, but now they will be spending even more time together – because they are both starring in a new movie!
According to Deadline.com, SONY Pictures and Ryan Murphy are working on a musical comedy called One Hit Wonders, which will include Paltrow, Beyonce, Reese Witherspoon, Cameron Diaz and comedian Adam Sandberg. This is reportedly a seven-figure preemptive deal.
Murphy is supposed to direct the film and will write the script with his Glee partners Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan.
Paltrow will also help Murphy produce One Hit Wonders, which will be the first time Paltrow has produced a project.
Paltrow, Witherspoon and Diaz will play three performers who were all ‘one hit wonders.’ The trio plans to create a super group.
We’re excited to see Beyonce and Gwyneth in the same movie and we are especially anticipating any Beyonce songs on the soundtrack!
