Keith Olbermann isn’t finished with Current TV just yet. It was just revealed that the former Countdown host filed a lawsuit in L.A. County Superior Court claiming he was wrongfully terminated from the network last Friday.
STORY: Deuces! Keith Olbermann Dismissed From Current TV
Last week Al Gore, the network’s co-founder, said that Olbermann had been disrespectful and disloyal to viewers.
Olbermann fired back, claiming the network was a “ragtag operation” that couldn’t afford him anyway.
Last year Olbermann signed a five-year, $50 million contract with Current after his career at MSNBC came to an abrupt end in January 2011.
Patricia Glaser will represent Olbermann; she also served as attorney to Conan O’Brien when he was fired by NBC.
O’Brien ended up with a $45 million settlement for himself and his staff.
Good luck to Olbermann.
