If you aren’t psyched for the Olympics, then Vogue’s goal is to get you hype.

In spirit of the Olympic event that only comes every four yearsVogue decided to break some rules of their own.

The Annie Leibovitz-shot June cover features soccer player Hope Solo, swimmer Ryan Lochte, and Serena Williams, making this the fourth time that Vogue has ever featured a male on their cover and the first time a male is featured without a model or an actress.

Granted, the athletes Vogue selected have amazing bodies (ahem, Ryan) and gorgeous features. Vogue could have gone the expected high-fashion route the publication is famous for, but they opted instead for a health publication-esque look.

The only men to be featured on the cover of Vogue were Richard Gere, George Clooney and LeBron James

Ironically, LeBron, the only athlete on the list, was featured the last time the Olympics came to town in 2008.

In addition to the tight bodies featured on the cover, the glossy features a sweet editorial with the men of the Olympics and model Karlie Kloss shape shifting to fit in with the men of every sport.

Check out the bodies on the cover of the magazine in the gallery above.
