During their SxSW performance in 2011, the A$AP Mob was reportedly pissed at the FADER Fort’s sound system and decided to destroy the equipment when stage manager, Anthony Montalbano, got caught in the cross fire.

Anthony Montalbano filed the suit against the hip-hop collective for allegedly attacking him on stage when they weren’t satisfied with the sound.

After being asked by a FADER employee to remove the sound equipment off the stage, Montalbano alleges members of the A$AP Mob kicked and punched him for several minutes, and also hit him in the head with a microphone.

Montalbano is seeking compensation for the injuries he sustained, which included getting 10 stitches on his head after suffering from a huge laceration.

A$AP Mob aren’t the only listed defendants in this case, Sony Music Entertainment and FADER Media Network are also in the hot seat.
