Whether it’s taking shots at other artists or himself, Deadmau5 is one to never bite his tongue. During a interview with Jian Ghomeshi on CBC’s Q, the DJ admits that he “sold out” when he did a dubstep song, saying: “OK, well I’m sure I can engineer something that’s palatable or on par with the whole Skrillex thing that everyone is into.” He also sent some more shots Madonna’s way. The producer blasted the pop legend for promoting the use of Molly during a concert. Check out the whole interview, it’s a good one. [Spinner]

Legendary producer Large Professor dropped some interesting facts about the first rendition of Nas’ infamous Jay-Z diss, “Either.” The producer claims that the track was originally produced by Swizz Beatz, and the song was fiercer. One line the producer mentions was: “It should’ve been you on the plane crash.” This was obviously a reference to the plane crash that killed Aaliyah the summer Jay and Nas started beefing. [HipHopDX]
