President Barack Obama is all about change, so much so, that he decided nine months ago to quit smoking. And change has come. White House aides say he has officially given up smoking for the past nine months.

Press secretary Robert Gibbs said he has not witnessed any evidence of the president having a cigarette since March, when a medical examination advised he give up the habit. with the constant pressures of being President of the United States, it’s no wonder Obama had to give up the nicotine. We all remember those now classic black and white photos, taken by Lisa Jack, of a 19 year old Barack Obama puffing on loosie.

Even though the President has given up the smoke, it still doesn’t mean he’s going to give up his all of his vices, including icee’s. The Obamas are on vacation in Hawaii and stopped to have some shaved ice at Island Snow at Kailua Beach Center. Take a look at the first family enjoying some ice treats.
