Rajon Rondo is an All-Star point guard who led the NBA in assists for the 2011-12 season. He helped lead the Boston Celtics to an NBA Championship in 2008 and as of today, he is an intern in GQ’s fashion department!

Rondo will be working closely with the magazine’s creative director Jim Moore and will be contributing to the magazine by attending fashion shows and writing about his experience for GQ.com.

We’re pretty sure that no other intern gets to do anything like this, however when you help win a championship ring, we imagine you get to experience a few more perks than the average intern.

When discussing his new position, Rondo said:

“I love the set-up so far and I’m having fun. I’m still a rookie at this. I’m humble. Anything GQ needs me to do—getting coffee—I’ll do. In my position, I haven’t done things like this in my entire life. It’s fun doing what I do, but it’s nice getting the flipside of that 9 to 5.”

We’re sure there are quite a few people who wouldn’t mind doing what you do Rondo, unfortunately we can’t all be star basketball players!
