November 18th will mark a new day in video game history! Nintendo is set to release their updated Wii console.

The Wii U will cost $300 for the basic version and $350 for the deluxe. Instead of the white console that we have gotten used to, the Wii U will be in black and the deluxe version will actually come with the game “Nintendo Land.”

The Wii U has a touch-screen controller called the Wii U GamePad. It also plays games made for the original Wii, so fans of the original console won’t have to lose their games.

Nintendo also announced Nintendo TVii. The service collects all the ways users have of watching movies, TV shows and sports.

Nintendo TVii is also compatible with services such as Hulu and Netflix. The GamePad works as a fancy remote controller that can browse programming and comment on scenes while the user watches.

We don’t know if the controller will be as easy to use as the original Wii controllers, but it will certainly be just as fun.
