Karlie Kloss certainly strutted her stuff for the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show that took place last week.

Although the fashion show has not aired yet, one of Karlie’s looks won’t be making the final cut. It’s unfortunate for her fans, but Native American groups probably won’t mind.

Wearing a leopard print bikini, Karlie did her famous walk down the runway with some pretty hefty accessories: layers of turquoise jewelry and some lucite, fringe-covered heels. But the towering Native American-style headdress on her head is what’s causing the controversy.

The controversy comes at a bad time, since No Doubt also recently came under fire for Gwen Stefani’s similar Native American headdress in the band’s newest video “Looking Hot.” The band apologized and pulled the video, and for the very same backlash, VS will be pulling the look from any upcoming broadcasts of the fashion show and any other press.

In a recent statement regarding the headdress controversy, a representative for Victoria’s Secret said:

“We are sorry that the Native American headdress replica used in our recent fashion show has upset individuals. We sincerely apologize as we absolutely had no intention to offend anyone. Out of respect, we will not be including the outfit in any broadcast, marketing materials nor in any other way.”
