In the wake of the Sandy Hook Elementary School tragedy, longtime R&B singer R.Kelly penned a beautiful, inspirational ballad for the children of Newtown, Connecticut.

Enlisting the talents of a young children’s choir to assist him on the tribute song, R.Kelly doesn’t actually sing on the track. Instead, R.Kelly lets the voices of the children be heard, which seems to be effective and heartfelt.

“I know you’re hurting/I hear you crying, but come tomorrow, there’s a place you can go/ Find the blue skies/ Hear the choir sing/ Feel the power of a miracle,” sings the children’s choir.
