After the sampling gods told The-Dream “no,” he moved to plan B and cooked up a new collaboration with Beyonce.
Originally, Beyonce was set to be featured on The-Dream’s forthcoming IV Play album on a fiery new track titled “Fire,” but after issues with clearing a sample, The-Dream ditched the song.
Always thinking quick on his feet, The-Dream hopped on a plane and flew out to London so Beyonce could record new vocals for their latest collabo “Turnt,” which will also feature 2 Chainz.
As a teaser, The-Dream shared a picture of the new song on his computer.
Fans can catch The-Dream on tour with Beyonce’s “sister” Kelly Rowland in the next few weeks.
The-Dream’s IV Play is set to hit store shelves May 28.
