Despite the fact that he likes Big Macs, Charles Ramsey has no plans to take endorsement deals for free burgers from restaurant.
According to his attorney, he released a statement responding to those who offered him free burgers for life after finding out he put a Big Mac aside to save the 3 kidnapped Cleveland girls.
The statement reads:
“I never told these people they could use my name for this.”
Despite not taking the offers, Ramsey did get a burger at the restaurant he works at named after him, which led to many others to do the same.
Charles wants his name taken out of the matters, and not used for any commercial products.
Driftwood Restaurant Group responded to Charles’ denial:
“We are saddened to hear that Chuck did not take this – or the offer of so many Cleveland restaurants to give him free meals – in the spirit we intended.”
Well, it looks like we won’t be able to have a Ramsey burger anytime soon!
