We are used to hearing happy, lighthearted and dance-ready songs from our boy Jacob Latimore.
So the video for Jacob’s “Alone,” a standout track off of the This is Me mixtape that he dropped last year, kinda threw us for a curve.
It’s darker than anything we’ve seen from the kid. The video for “Alone” tells a tragic love story, as Jacob’s girlfriend is murdered in cold blood and the young man has to deal with the pain.
The visuals go along with the video, which is pretty downbeat itself.
It’s a sad, but well done video and song that’s definitely worth your time. Watch it above. This thang is deep.
