Oh, holy matrimony…
Canadian singer Avril Lavigne and Nickelback’s Chad Kroeger tied the knot this weekend in true punk-rock fashion, as they wore all black down the aisle after almost a year of being engaged.
In a Monique Lhuillier dress with black bouquet in hand, Avril said, “I do,” to Chad in a medieval castle in the south of France on Monday, in front of 110 friends and family members.
The dearly beloved gushed about their love for each other in an exclusive interview with Hello! Canada:
When you’ve got that ring on your finger that you get to look at every single day, and you get to call that other person husband or wife, it’s a really special feeling,” said Chad.
“We hope to be together forever,” added Avril. “One day down the road we’ll have a family. I look forward to growing with Chad.
May their lives be filled with nothing but matrimonial bliss and a couple of rock-and-roll babies!
