This week has been such a blessing, I’m overwhelmed with all of the love and support for my first feature film Next Day Air which hits theaters this Friday, May 8th.
Just the other day I had the opportunity to re-connect with my cast: Donald Faison, Cisco Reyes and the lovely Yasmin Deliz on Telemundo’s ‘One Nation’. Being on the show brought me back to being on the set of the film, the chemistry between everyone just clicked and the show was a lot of fun.
‘One Nation’ also gave us the opportunity to speak directly to the Latino community. I’m extremely happy how the film turned out. I was able to capture the latino culture in a way not yet seen on film…the Chicano California culture and the east coast hispanic boriqua and dominican cultures are well represented in this movie. Getting support from a major network like Telemundo lets us know we’re doing something right in representing the Latino culture.
