People get ready another powerhouse vocalist is plotting her return! Fantasia Barrino is getting ready to bring us some new heat early 2010 the old fashion way.

Washington, DC — Fantasia plans to record her third CD the old-fashioned way. Fantasia likes the live sound from older albums, before technology changed the way they were recorded. She says she’s invited an orchestra to be in the studio to back her up when she sings.

The songs she’s been writing reflect the pain she experienced last year. She says she "went through a lot of things, business-wise, relationship-wise." She says her life has always been an open book. Fantasia will go back to work on the CD when she gets a break from touring in "The Color Purple." It’s about time that someone finally gets back into the real artistry & fundamentals of making an album. With all this technology (auto-tune, etc.) nowadays it’s hard to really know what you’re getting when you purchase an album. Let’s get back to the days of Luther, Al Green, Diana Ross, Patti Labelle, etc. Those were the days of live bands & orchestra’s, all without today’s computers. Fantasia is about to set the game straight!Aside from that Fannie is in the studio working with Midi Mafia who is producing the most of her untitled album. She has also worked with KP, Eric Hudson and Raphael Saadiq. Word is her album is 75% complete and we can expect to hear her new single some time this fall.
