I am a little bit shy, and it’s true. You may not see me as shy for you are going to see a whole lot of Kelly in the March issue of Playboy. I chose my ex husband and uber photog Gilles Bensimon to take the pictures. Did he think I was still pretty, and did he still think I was attractive after all this time were just a few of the questions that consumed my mind while I sat in front of Gilles naked.
The first person to see the pics was my sweetest friend, Rus, as I call him. Sitting seats away from me at my celebratory dinner for my Playboy cover at BUTTER was Russell talking to everyone effortlessly. I literally leaped down the stairs with the mag in hand saying, ‘Rus look at this!!!’
Funny enough, Russell who has known me since I was 19, said, ‘wow, you are all that!!!’ I knew I had done the right thing to pose, if Russell approved.
I am 41 and proud of it. I have two girls and I want them to respect their bodies like I have mine over the years. Every woman can have it all. Why not look great and celebrate your age. We only have one life. Love you Russell for always supporting me and my adventures.
