What people don’t know is that every morning for years I wake up in the morning and walk directly to the mirror just to see how much hair I lost that night.  I’m not looking for people to feel sorry for me or trying to make an excuse for cutting my hair. Its just a fact, I cut my hair because I’m losing my hair, its actually falling out but I’m on the road to the recovery.

For the third time in my life I am undergoing treatments to prevent more hair loss. This is my second time cutting my hair this short. The hair that have even at this length is still beautiful and curly. I think people have a hard time accepting change and although I understand that, it’s not my problem. I’m doing what’s best for me and I will always do that.

My new look has actually increased my rate and broadened my demographic. Just within a few weeks I’ve re received my inquiries and bookings in both high fashion and fitness industries. The positive response has been in areas I’ve always dreamed about. I’m transitioning and gaining a new audience which is what I’ve desired for a while. So many models come and go and once they’ve done a few covers, a centerfold and 15-20 talent bookings around the country and their career is over. This will not be Rosa Acosta’s story. My very struggle is unlocking a whole new world of opportunities and I’m accepting my reality and moving forward. Keep you eyes on me (wink).
