REMEMBERING THE 90’S “WHEN MUSIC WAS SO GOOD”

Just thinking about all of the good music that we had all around us. It was so many great Artist out when we came out back then and the music was just so incredible and just talking about it gives us goose bumps and it bring back so many wonderful memories.

There were so many great Artist back in those days such as Zhane, Faith Evans, Next, BBD, NE, Changing Faces, Fugees, Lil Mo, 702, JE, Joe, 112, Total, Dru Hill, Carl Thomas, Kelly Price, Blackstreet, Silk, Al B Sure, Keith Sweat, and so many more that we just can’t name them all.

We were all thinking how crazy it would be if every one of those artist could come out to possibly Madison Square Garden or some place similar and perform their biggest hits, that would be so awesome!

New York was and is still one of the best places to show case your talent. The one great thing about our music is that we were able appeal to the young and to the mature crowd. It is always amazing to see our young fans come up to us and tell us how much they really love our music and how we have inspired them in so many ways. There are some many new great singers, musicians, producers and songwriters out today. We would love to work with some up and coming producers, a lot people really don’t know that some of our biggest hits were by no name producers at that time.

We think that is some of the problem with today’s music. A lot artist and record executives want the big name producers and fail to realize that having a super producer does not guarantee you a hit! We thank God that even being young and not really knowing exactly what we were crafting musically at that time that it made such an impact back then and even now that we are so forever thankful.

Even when we took a break as SWV our fans kept our music alive. Everyone has been asking and we want you to know that we have new music and its gonna be “fire” it’s coming to you real soon but in the mean time we want to personally invite you out to Celebrate with us as we honor our very own “Coko” the voice behind “Rain”, “Weak” “Sunshine” “You’re The One”, “Im So Into You” and so many more on June 13, 2010 @ BBKINGS right here in NY please come and share your love with us. We have so many special surprise guest coming. We love you! SWV
