The Laker’s win 83-79 is causing a riot in the city with their overzealous hooliganism. Fans were crazed in victory throwing rocks and bottles in the air. Frenzied fans were lighting cars on fire, confrontin gthe LAPD and while the riot started at Staples Center, it quickly caught wind in the downtown area. The last count of arrests was 38 and there were up to 15 cases of fire. Many out of control fans were jumping out of cars and also breaking store windows causing an unruly scene in the light of victory.
