Chrissy Steltz was a high school sophomore when a full two thirds of her face was blown to bits by shotgun pellets, making her life a living hell for the past 10 years. Steltz has been walking around for over a decade wearing a sleep mask covering the gaping hole where her her eye-sockets and nose used to be, making her life a very challenging life.

Today Steltz is receiving a face transplant that will make he life a little easier. Doctors have made her a new face, and with the very life-like prosthesis, a new start. It is made of silicone. Doctors said the prosthetic made her whole again, and she agreed. ‘I felt like everybody was seeing me again.’
