Since Kanye West joined Twitter the social networking service has been all about him. But since we’ve been fans of Kanye since his College Dropout days we knew that things would probably end up like this. When Kanye first joined Twitter (but wasn’t really tweeting), comedian Aziz Ansari started the trending topic #predictingkanyetweets, in which he’d tweet things like ‘Hans Zimmer needs to write a score for whenever I eat cookies. When I eat cookies, sh*t is mad suspenseful,’ or ‘Yo, how Levar Burton got a million more followers than me? I ain’t better than Reading Rainbow?‘ The irony in Ansari’s predictions is that he wasn’t being comical. Kanye actually tweets things like this. So Ansari’s predictions were more like predicting what Kanye would say next.
In case you don’t follow Kanye West on Twitter (he’s @kanyewest by the way) you’re missing out on the extravagant life of expensive habits of the producer/rapper. The good people over at New York Magazine decided to calculate just how expensive his life is. Apparently, one week in the life of Kanye West amounts to $87, 451.55. Take a look at some of the items Kanye chooses to spend his money on (or, at least, tweets about wanting to spend money on).

Kanye feels like he is royalty and in a sense, to be fair, we can consider some of his creations (mainly his beats) to be history-making, hip-hop royalty. So for that, the Crown may be deserved. The goblets though, well, Kanye just stays on that different sh*t.

Kanye referred to this as a ‘Baby Mama Jet’ but private chartered jets are not cheap. He probably meant that he usually only flies a 747 dubbed Air Kanye.
