Heeeeyyyyyyyyy worrrrrrllllddd it’s @DWIGHTHOWARD!!!!

I hope everybody out there has had a good week. I got some good work in with my Magic teammates every day this week and I was back in the weight room last night until almost midnight getting in another hard workout. Tightening things up before camp starts the week after next.

I wanted to tell you guys about my latest trip that I’m leaving for today. I’m headed to Haiti today to visit the children and all of the volunteer workers there helping the people recover from the devastating earthquake earlier this year. We’ll be in Port-au-Prince today where we’re supposed to meet with about 300 Haitian children and then take a tour of the city to witness the effects of the earthquake firsthand.

This trip means so much to me because a lot of people have forgotten what’s still going on down in Haiti. It’s sad but it seems like people have already forgotten about all of the devastation and suffering in Haiti. It seems like people have moved onto the next thing in the world, but I know that there is still plenty of hurting and struggling going on down there. I want to go there and try to do what I can to help those people who have nothing.

God has blessed me with the ability to travel around the world and put smiles on people’s faces. I want to do what I can to help the people out there and put smiles on their faces. There are so many of things going on in the world right now and I wish I could just travel to all of these places and try to make a difference.

For me, every chance that I get to go somewhere like Haiti, I want people to know that it’s not about money or any sort of status that I might have. For me, it’s all about helping the people who need it and I want to try and change people’s lives.

That’s why I am going there to Haiti, and I’m so looking forward to this trip. My former teammate, Adonal Foyle, is joining me down there and I’m hoping that we can shine a light on the troubles that people in Haiti are still having. If I can just brighten the day of a few kids, make folks smile and thank those people who are helping out the earthquake victims, then it will be a good trip for me.

So everybody out there pray for me on this trip. I’m really looking forward to it and hoping that I can make some sort of difference in people’s lives. To learn more about my work in Haiti, visit www.dwighthowardfund.org. Take care!!!
