And the newest member of Jay-Z‘s Roc Nation imprint is super lyrical emcee, Jay Electronica. Last night he received a party at The Box NYC to officially announce that he had signed with the label. He had actually signed the contract last Saturday and the label planned a special party to let the world know about the emcee’s signing.
This comes as somewhat of a surprise because I would have thought he would be signing to Bad Boy due to the huge support he has been getting from Diddy. But then again, Jay does work with Just Blaze a lot and I can see the connection to Jay.
Either way its a huge look for him and I wish him much luck and success. Not like he needs it because that dude is nice.
