Kanye’s accusatory words towards the former president, ‘George Bush doesn’t care about black people’ have lived on to this day and the feud around the sensitive topic is staying toasty in the news right now for a good reason. Unfortunately for the two boys plagued with complete insensitivity and reason, the Lehigh administration did not find their racist stunt to be humorous on any level. Most students seem to agree that it was in poor taste but willing to forgive because they believe the intent was humor. However that is no reason to trivialize what the two fraternity boys did which was a clearly conscious act that reflects upon racial concepts regardless of the motivation. Take a look at black faces that were meant to be funny in the disguise of harmless Halloween humor but in reality, stagnating multicultural awareness in America.
