We will bust the windows out of someone’s car if Jazmine Sullivan follows through with her announcement of stepping away from music for awhile.

Unfortunately, this past weekend the soulful songstress announced on Twitter that she was stepping away from the mic and putting down the pad & pen in an attempt to find herself.

The 23 year-old singer first emerged onto the music scene three years ago, and has had a pretty successful R&B career. Hits like ‘Need You Bad’ and ’10 seconds’ have become anthems for loved scorned women and heart broken fans.

We here at Global Grind don’t want to see Jazmine leave so we’ve come up with 10 reasons why Jazmine shouldn’t quit music. Plus, we don’t want to be pressured into committing a crime.

Reason #1: Who else are we loved scorned people of the world supposed to listen to when our hearts have been ripped out by a significant other?

Reason #5: Women of the world can’t ‘hold their man down’ if there’s no Jazmine Sullivan track playing in the background.

Reason #6: Because she’s a damn good singer.

Reason #7: Because she’s one of the only quality artists who still writes and produces her own music.

Reason #8:Because we here at GlobalGrind love her!

Reason #9: There are no relevant artists out who represent Philadelphia in a good light.

Reason #10: Because her music is AMAZING!
