With the Republican controlled house voting to repeal last year’s healthcare overhaul, it’s becoming more reasonable and scary to assume that the G.O.P. will try to freeze funding for the health care law. Are they really willing to put a hold on funding for health care, or is this another Republican scare tactic? 

Leading up to Barack Obama’s run for the Presidency and after he won the office, the scare tactics went into overdrive, President Obama was labeled a racist, liar, fascist and socialist all in one breathe. The scare tactics were believed by so many, that people actually began to relish in the rhetoric. 

Here is what Rep. John Dingell (D-Mich) said: ‘This is only the beginning…I’m also fearful that they are going to try and eviscerate the legislation by denying it funding [and] by harassing the administration.’ So with the recent repeal and forthcoming fund freezing, the Republicans and those that support their movement continue with their scare tactics. Let’s take a look at history of the Right’s scare tactics.
