Tonight is the premiere of “Dancing With The Stars” (DWTS) season 12, which is both very exciting and nerve-racking at the same time. For me, entering the competition was about “dancing with a purpose,” to shine light on children forgotten months and years after natural disasters. With the current horrifying news out of Japan it has become, for me, an even deeper purpose.

With the current horrifying news out of Japan it has become, for me, an even deeper purpose.
Right now the world is focused on the disaster in Japan, but will we be focused on it six months from now? We should be and I know the Happy Hearts Fund (HHF) will be. I know that I am speaking on behalf of the entire HHF team when I say my heart goes out to all of those affected by the tragedy. I have seen it so many times, in so many places around the world, and it never gets easier to see.
Happy Hearts Fund is monitoring the recovery progress in Japan and in the near future we will be there to help rebuild the schools and we will give our best effort to keep shining a light on children who are in desperate need of help.
We all have ways to help and I invite you to join me and Happy Hearts as we do our part by rebuilding schools for the children of Japan.
