Actresses Katie Holmes and Michelle Williams were on opposite sides of the country last night, but the two former “Dawson’s Creek” actresses may have shared notes about what to wear to their respective premieres in California and New York.
Holmes kept simple at the premiere of her new miniseries “The Kennedys” in Beverly Hills, California at the AMPAS Samuel Goldwyn Theatre. She was also joined by her boo Tom Cruise. Williams donned a smart Chanel number to the premiere of “Meek’s Cutoff” held at the Sunshine Cinema in New York City on Monday.
“The Kennedys” will air on Reelz Channel on April 3rd after Discovery Channel dropped the project. Holmes, eager for spring and resplendent in a sleeveless knitted cotton dress with a jersey top, will play fashion icon and humanitarian Jackie Kennedy.
Williams’ “Meek’s Cutoff” is the story of settlers traveling through the Oregon desert in 1845 who find themselves stranded in harsh conditions.
