What: A big scare for an Oak Park family, when a toddler was accidentally served alcohol in a kids meal at Applebee’s. The 15-month-old boy needed a ride to the hospital. After being checked out by doctors, the family learned the boy’s blood alcohol level was .10 — over the legal limit for an adult driver.

What Happened: A magnitude-7.1 aftershock rattled Japan on Monday, the one-month anniversary of the massive earthquake that spawned a deadly tsunami. A warning was issued for a 3-foot tsunami, the same as after another 7.1 aftershock that shook the northeast coast last week. There was no tsunami after that quake.

Match:  Donald Trump lashed out at New York Times columnist Gail Collins in a letter to the paper published on Friday. Trump was responding to a very negative column Collins wrote last Saturday. In the column, Collins derided Trump’s presidential aspirations and mocked him as “the man who can make Bill O’Reilly look like the most sensible guy in the room.” And, of course, Collins lambasted Trump’s full-throated embrace of the “birther” movement.
