What: Don-8r

Made By: Scotland’s University of Dundee Student Tim Pryde

What It Does: Panhandle for Charity

Price: N/A

For the most part, panhandling has been left up to hobos who travel the city begging for change for everything under the sun. Unfortunatley for them, the future has cut into their market and a robot designed specifically to politely ask for charitable doantions for actual charities has been created. The Don-8r has a flashing head to grab attention because of its small stature; but has a leg up on its competition because of its politeness, persistance and cleanliness. After all, a crazy person asking for change is nowhere near as inviting as a small robot with a head that lights up. Check out the video of the Don-8r in action after the jump.
