Water bottles were emptied on fans as they raged with excitement, clothes were stripped and champagne was popped. Expect nothing less when Machine Gun Kelly is on the mic. The Cleveland-based rapper delivered an exhilarating preformance last night at Gramercy Theatre in New York City in front of a unique crowd, including members of the Bad Boy Entertainment family. Fans ranged from their teens to their forties, possibly even older. Some attempted to jump beyond the stage barriers, while others sat in the back an observed the entire scene. One thing is for sure, they were feeling the rage.

The crowd had plenty of time to prepare for MGK as they partied through performances from Jasmine Solano, D.A. the Future, and Bamboozled contest winner WordSpit. But after three sets of openers, the crowd was ready for the headliner to take his place. Fans held their hands up in the shape of an “L” to support the “Lace Up” movement as the rapper ran onto the stage with his best friend performing his hometown pride song “Cleveland.”

MGK took time in between each of his songs to interact with fans, shouting out a girl he remembered from Twitter and dedicating his next song to another. A leap off stage into the crowd mid-set was met with hugs and the smell-good stench of weed, both which he expressed his appreciation.

Despite his rapid delivery fans rapped every word as he performed most of his songs from his Lace Up mixtape including “Stereo” and “Fantasy.” At the end of the concert MGK came out to greet some fans as they were leaving.
