Ethiopian model and actress Liya Kebede has landed L’Oreal Paris.
Not many details about the deal are known at this time, but it is being reported that the African stunner, last seen with her husband and kids in U.S. Vogue, is the new face of the cosmetics giant, joining Jennifer Lopez, Beyonce and Oluchi as brand ambassadors.
She also joins Yasmin Warasame who landed L’Oreal’s Youth Code campaign last year.

“Her strength and courage has inspired us, her beauty has stunned us,” said L’Oreal Paris in a statement about Kebede. “We are thrilled to have Liya Kebede join the L’Oréal Paris family as our new ambassador!”
Meanwhile, here in the states, Maybelline spokesmodel Jessica White will be teaming up with the brand to launch a new line of skin care products for women of color.
Sources say White is working closely with the Maybeline’s chemist Maria Ash to develop a skin enhancing mixture for Blacks, Asians and Latinas.
