Huma Abedin is the wife of New York Congressman Anthony Weiner. Weiner has been the talk of the town the last couple days mainly because of his “Weinergate” scandal.

Weiner has denied any wrong doing and has hired a lawyer to find out who is responsible for hacking his Twitter account. As for his wife, Huma, she can’t be enjoying this wall-to-wall coverage her husband has been receiving.
So who is Huma Abedin? Born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, Huma is the only child of an Iranian scholar and a Pakistani professor.
At the age of two, her family relocated to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, Huma later returned to the United States to attend George Washington University. In 1996, Huma began working as an intern for the White House in 1996 and became the personal aide to then First Lady, Hillary Clinton. Today, Huma continues as an aide to now Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton and serves as her as traveling chief of staff and “body woman.”
