It’s not necessarily “new music” as far as being released today, but “Ungirthed” and Purity Ring is totally new to GlobalGrind.
“Ungirthed” is by an electro-pop duo called Purity Ring. Formed by Gobble Gobble’s Corin Roddick and Megan James, Purity Ring should be reigning as electro-pop’s hottest act right now.
Between the synthesizer, light beats of 808s, and the twinkles of dings in the background, “Ungirthed” is probably one of the best electro-pop records GlobalGrind has heard in a long time.
With lyrics like ”Ears ringing, teeth clicking/ears ringing, teeth clicking” repeating over and over, it’s hard to get this song out of your head.
