Mickey ‘Memphitz” Wright is actually a country boy himself hailing from Memphis, Tennessee. He got his start in the music industry by interning at Arista, he was host of BET’s show “The Deal” and he is now the Senior Vice President of A&R at Jive Records.
Memphitz is most known for signing T-Pain to the Jive label. He’s currently the CEO of his own label, Hitz Commitee Records. Looks like Toya has snagged herself a winner!
