At this moment, family is the most important and Nicki Minaj has a huge family.

Nicki, who was born in Trinidad, went back to her native land leading up to her “Pink Friday” album release. MTV followed the Young Money Barbie as she visited family members. Minaj shopped, hugged and talked about old times and reflected on moments with her grandmother, who she lived with after her mother left Trinidad for America.

It’s safe to say that Nicki is a family girl and having a family support system, especially at this time, is vital.
