The “Good Golly Miss Molly” singer was a legendary presence on the National Mall for the ‘A Capital Fourth’ concert.

At 78-years-old, the rock idol showed he’s still got it, despite a recovering injury which required him to use a wheelchair for most of his time in the city. The singer underwent hip replacement surgery in 2009.
Hair still in tact, the Georgia native performed some of his classic hits and skilled the piano at its own game!
Among other stars in attendance were Jordin Sparks, Josh Groban and comedian Steve Martin.
