Everyone else may have turned their back on Lil Kim after her “battle of the Barbies with Nicki,” but Monica ain’t having it.

The “Love Over Me” singer is fighting back, after Queen Bee’s verse was removed from her new single “Anything (To Find You).”

Monica’s single debuted at No. 71 on the Billboard charts and to her shocking surprise, Kim’s voice was nowhere to be found on the track.

According to Billboard, the decision was made by Volletta Wallace, mother of the late Christopher “BIG” Wallace, to take Kim off the song. Reports are that the Biggie-sampled track wasn’t cleared with his mother before the song was produced.

An unhappy Mrs. Brown let her frustration be known on her Twitter, informing fans that they must deal with Ms. Wallace’s decision to avoid legal issues.

Late yesterday she said to her followers, “I am just finding out what has happened to my single and myself & Missy are beyond hurt that was removed. She’s our friend, a legend.”

Missy Elliot and soul legend Anita Baker comforted the singer with reassuring tweets of more creative works to come.

Kim has a message for the world though, she can’t be held back.

She sent a Twitter thank you to Monica and Missy Elliot for their support, as well as to fans for being “#teamlilkim.”

Early this morning she tweeted, “Right now me, , are planning something even BIGGER for you guys!!! =).” That’s the boss we know, Notorious Kim!

For the time being, Lil Kim won’t be heard on the single, but both women have made it known that the gloves aren’t coming off just yet.
