Spring has its ups and downs: some days are bright and colorful while others are grey and dark. Charlotte Ronson knows this and sent out clothes that reflected that same dual nature of spring in her presentation yesterday during NY Fashion Week.

Patch-worked jeans, delicate knits, asymmetrical hem lines and sheer blouses and skirts were all part of a collection which was sometimes bright and sometimes somber. Over all, there were fantastic looks for Spring 2012 and the “ladies covered up” trend we will see then only occurred a few times.
Ronson’s collection was as strong as the personalities in the front row. Watching the runway was Russell Simmons and his niece Angela and a host of others. More in the gallery above.
