Who Is Rick Perry? Everything You Need To Know About The GOP Presidential Candidate

The thing is, Texas Governor Rick Perry could have granted the death row inmate clemency but hasn’t, and that’s because Rick Perry loves to execute prisoners.

Will Texas Governor Rick Perry Execute A Black Man Because Of His Skin Color?

During the Republican Presidential debate two weeks ago, when asked about executing prisoners in Texas, Perry said:

“You kill one of our children, you kill a police officer, you’re involved with another crime and you kill one of our citizens, you will face the ultimate justice in the state of Texas, and that is, you will be executed.”

The state of Texas has executed 234 people while under the leadership of Rick Perry. His predecessor, George W. Bush served six years as the governor of Texas and presided over 152 executions, more than any other governor in the recent history of the United States. Now, Perry has taken that title.

The more we look at Rick Perry and George W. Bush, the more we see the similarities. Both wear their Texas swag like a badge of honor. They both were in the military and they were both average when it came to their academics.

If you want George W. Bush part II, then Perry is your guy. Take a look at some other similarities both men share.

Smartypants!:

Both were not exactly Einsteins when it came to academics. Rick Perry earned mostly grades of “B’s” and “C’s,” with a fair share of “D’s” and “F’s” when he attended Texas A&M University.

George W. Bush attended the prestigious Yale, but was a “C” student during most of his time there.
