Lady Gaga is no fish out of water when it comes to creative video concepts.
The songstress sent Jo Calderone on a short vacation to give her the flopping freedom to channel Yüyi the mermaid in the third installment of her “Yoü and I” fashion films.
While in Nebraska on the the set of her “Yoü and I” video, Gaga not only shot her Harper’s Bazaar cover, but she also starred in, and creatively directed, the series of fashion films putting a spotlight on each of the characters from her “Yoü and I” clip.

The first of the series was released earlier this month and featured Gaga as her nymph alter ego and the second video, released on the 14th, highlighted “Bride.”
Gaga slaps fin from her director chair as Yüyi, while puffing on a cigarette looking particularly scaly from her exposure to oxygen, as a mermaid on land should be.

Gaga and her team are said to be working on the completion of the remaining videos, and five more will drop to complete the Fashion Films series.
We can’t wait to see what else she has up her fin!
