DeadMau5 is that dude!

Earlier this week, world renowned producer/performer DJ DeadMau5 was presented with a special award for holding the title for most consecutive sold out shows at Roseland Ballroom in New York City.

His tour, DeadMau5’s Meowingtons Hax 40 named after his cat Professor Meowingtons, kicked off Tuesday night in New York City, where he’s been playing since October 4th and will play until October 9th: the longest any artist has ever played at the venue.

DeadMau5 is the only artist who has achieved this six consecutive night sold out showing, since rock group Rage Against The Machine in 1996, who had five consecutive nights at the Roseland.

Grammy nominated artist DeadMau5’s popularity continues to grow as one of the most respected electronic producers of modern time, ranked #4 in the world by DJ Mag followers.

The closed award ceremony included a DeadMau5 pre-show before the actual concert, cake and pics with friends, while the Roseland award was presented to him.
