Rumors swirled around earlier this week that Sean “Diddy” Combs was changing his name back to Puffy, Puff Daddy, or Puff.
According to his reps, Diddy is not changing his name back to Puff Daddy, but is was fun while it lasted.
GlobalGrind started thinking about all of Diddy’s name changes over the past decade, and they’ve been pretty hilarious.

He began as Puffy Daddy, but people shortened it to Puffy or Puff. After his acquittal on gun charges in the 2001 club shooting, Diddy came out and announced he was changing his name to “P. Diddy.”
After a few years as “P. Diddy,” Diddy dropped the “P” and now goes as just plain old “Diddy.” After his numerous name changes, Diddy soon adopted a new alter-ego he named “Swag.”
“Swag” was short lived, but he existed at one time or another.
So the question is, should Diddy go ahead and change his name back to Puff Daddy?
