Yesterday we reported a story about a young girl who was tricked by her tattoo artist ex-boyfriend when he inked a steaming pile of poop on her back.

Turns out, according to the Daily Mail, that the now infamous picture is a fake and the photo has been floating around the internet since 2009.
As the story goes, Rossie Brovent and her tattoo artist ex-boyfriend, Ryan Fitzjerald got drunk and he agreed to give his then girlfriend a tat.
What Rossie didn’t know was that Ryan was aware she was cheating on him and in a fit of rage tattooed a steaming pile of excrement, complete with buzzing flies, right on her back.
Rossie decided to sue Fitzjerald for about $100,000, but the kicker was she had no way to press criminal charges against him because she signed a consent form prior to getting inked, stating that the tattoo was “at the artist’s discretion.” OUCH!
Apparently Rossie told The Sun that Ryan tricked her by offering her a bottle of cheap wine and tequila shots before she signed the contract and got the tattoo.
But the Daily Mail discovered that there were no such court documents or reports of any filed lawsuits. Looks like the internet was duped.
