If Jay-Z has Obama on the text he might as well hit him up and tell him to tax the hell out of him, but only if the money is going to help people.

STORY: Jay-Z Ditches Occupy Wall Street For “Occupy All Streets”

The Brooklyn bred M.C. told CNN that he doesn’t mind paying more taxes, just as long it goes to a good cause:

“I wouldn’t mind paying more taxes if it went to the things that really mattered. If it went to education, people [in] poverty and if it went to the right things, it should be clearly defined … where all the money’s being allocated. Because you can understand paying so much for taxes and then things not improving, you’re like, where’s everything going to?”

Hov is calling for an “open accounting” of how tax dollars are dished out and calls on other wealthy businessmen and entrepreneurs who have a “conscience,” “integrity” and “moral fiber,” to give up their hard-earned dollars for the greater good if their money was being spent on causes that aimed to help people.

When it comes to Occupy Wall Street, Jay said:

“I think it is saying a lot all over the world that people can get their voice out there and fight for a better world, education and health care and poverty. It’s good. It’s a good thing that young people are getting out and getting their voice heard.”

Jay came under fire last month over his Rocawear brand “Occupy All Streets” T-shirt as leaders of the movement felt he was profiting off their cause.

Either way, Jay is right, having open accounting of how America spends its tax dollars is a good thing.
